In California, USA Civil’s SR-74/I-215 Interchange project wins construction management award

Collaboration, open communication and common goals between the client, construction manager and Skanska resulted in a successful SR-74/I-215 Interchange project that won the Construction Management Association of America’s Southern California Chapter award in the Infrastructure/$11-50 million category. This $15.6 million project – which USA Civil completed below budget and four months ahead of schedule – mainly consisted of building a new bridge and erecting three retaining walls, and associated roadwork. Congratulations!

USA Civil and USA Building are holding their annual management meetings this week in Phoenix. Civil’s meeting is Monday and Tuesday, while Building’s meeting is Wednesday and Thursday. To share important messages presented at these meetings, regular updates from the sessions will be e-mailed to all employees. USA Building’s D.C.-area office celebrates ribbon cutting that sets the stage for future healthcare work

On Friday, USA Building’s Rockville, Md., office celebrated the ribbon cutting for the $15.2 million Inova Healthplex-Lorton, a free-standing emergency medical facility intended to serve the local community in suburban Washington, D.C. Our team’s strong performance on this project has helped us win two subsequent projects with Inova Health System, one of the dominant healthcare providers in the D.C. area.
