Vice President Joe Biden joined New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in Manhattan last week to unveil Cuomo’s transformative vision for LaGuardia Airport: it unites LaGuardia’s disconnected terminals into a structurally unified main terminal. The first phase is the replacement of the current Central Terminal Building, which is being procured through a public-private partnership for which Skanska’s LaGuardia Gateway Partners consortium has been chosen as preferred bidder. The second phase is another major terminal project.
