In New Jersey, a new headquarters for USA Building

On April 11, USA Building’s headquarters changed locations while still staying in Parsippany, N.J., moving from its longtime home on Littleton Road to its new home on Interpace Parkway, just a few miles away.

The new Parsippany office features the “One Skanska Workplace” open floor plan, which allows teams to work in functional work groups in a more collaborative, less isolating way. The new office has 15 idea rooms and six conference rooms, many of them equipped with video conferencing technology.

The more efficient configuration allows the new office to be 27 percent smaller than the previous office, yet still comfortably accommodating about 120 people.

“It feels larger with the same amount of people in the new space,” said Bill Flemming, USA Building president and CEO. “We’ve eliminated all of the wasted space that was in the other building and designed more efficient work spaces.”

With the new office being on a single floor, rather than two floors previously, “you see and have interactions with people you did not see often in the other building,” Flemming added.

Metro New York’s marketing team, which was based in the Empire State Building office, also moved into the new space, which is targeting LEED Gold.

The new address is: 389 Interpace Parkway, 5th Floor, Parsippany, NJ 07054
