New head for Infrastructure Development’s North American operations

Johan Henriksson

Johan Henriksson, who recently was USA Civil’s chief financial officer, is Skanska’s new executive vice president in charge of North American Infrastructure Development activities. Henriksson is currently president of Skanska Latin America, with the responsibility of leading the phase out of Skanska’s operations there.

Henriksson will start transitioning to ID starting October 1st, and will assume his new position full-time by January 1st.

“This news is important to all of us at Skanska, as ID is the driver for the public-private partnership projects that are key to Skanska’s future success, such as the recent LaGuardia Airport selection,” said Skanska USA CEO Rich Cavallaro. “Johan and I worked closely together when we were both with USA Civil, and I’m confident he will help make Skanska even more successful with PPPs.”

Cavallaro added: “Amando Madan has done a great job stepping in and leading ID North America on an interim basis since June, and we look forward to continue working with him on key PPP pursuits.”

With Skanska for 20 years, Henriksson also previously was ID’s chief financial officer.

“I’m excited to work closely with all my previous and new highly talented and competent colleagues at Skanska ID once again,” Henriksson said. “There are fantastic opportunities for ID and PPP in North America.”
