For a sixth year, the USA Building Innovation Grant Program is accepting applications. The program provides funding to individuals or teams to cover the cost of researching, developing and implementing innovative ideas that can improve how we work and serve our clients. Any ideas big or small are worth submitting – be creative!

Now, Skanska UK in partnership with Loughborough University aims to develop the world’s first commercial concrete printing robot. This advancement would significantly reduce the time needed to create complex building elements.

Continuing our partnership with UConn

For our third project at the University of Connecticut’s main campus, Skanska has signed an $88 million contract to build the university’s new Innovation Partnership Building. Our New Haven office has begun preconstruction on this 115,000-square-foot research facility, with site operations to begin this November. Completion is scheduled for January 2017.

To improve our transparency and client service, Skanska has made our inSite Monitor app publicly available at the iTunes store, allowing our clients to access the same information as our project teams. Previously, the app was available only on our internal app store. This is the first app that Skanska USA has released publicly.
